hello, old friend.
7:49 AM
We're falling faster
Will you think about it?
If I fall over, will you catch me, baby?
'Cause there's an awful lot of people waiting
To get their hands on everything we've got
---
...because even faux summers can be infinite, can be beautiful.
yesterday's (freedom!!!) exams-have-ended(!) outing with the Click Six Minus One = Click Five was crazy fun.
I don't have any pics yet cuz SOMEONE hasn't sent 'em yet.
Hurry hurry, Bean! :D
We all wanted to watch House Bunny (do NOT say anything.) but of course the theatre we went to only had weird shows like Disaster Movie and Babylon AD and Mirrors, so we ended up sneaking into My Best Friend's Girl.
Hey. It's counted as legal if we look 18.
I didn't see what was so M18 about the movie, anyway-- unless they rated it that way for its crass sense of humour and predictable plot. The scruffy lead "I get paid to be a professional asshole" guy's character's name was Sherman Tank Turner; which made me laugh. It's kinda like if you watched House Bunny and realized that the ditzy lead character's name was Qiu Lin (although that wouldn't be all that unbelievable.)
Counter Ticket Seller Guy: ...You guys are 18, right?
Kat: Yup! (smiles big)
Cara: (smiles big)
Guy at ticket door: ... Just now check your ic already right?
Serene: *glare*
Guy at ticket door: Okay okay...
sooo.
after the movie, we went to J.E Swimming Complex.
I'd never even heard of it before, but apparently it's this Wild Wild Wet lookalike place with waterslides and floats and a lazy river and wave pool and EVERYTHING; yes, complete with weird pervy males, even- it's kinda like Malibu only without the cute guys.
It was crazy awesomeeeeeeeee.
Serene: Which water slide shall we go on first?
Cara: The pink! The pink!
RJ: There's blue, and there's yellow...
Cara: pink! PINK!
We ended up going on the yellow one first though. :/
And I zipped in first so I could be the first one down so I could hear everyone else scream hahahaha n00bs. Don't mess with anyone who's been on the Duelling Dragons! (next stop for the click six: Universal Studios, Florida! ...better work on those summer jobs, people.)
Serene: Let's go to the lazy river!
RJ: yeah, "lazy"'s your favourite word, right.
Serene: (indignantly) What! It's pretty fast whaaat!
Cara: Yeah, for you.
Qiu: (points to the sign on the slide) Look! The slide's as tall as me!! 155!!!
RJ: Qiu-- you are 154.
Cara: and you're 154 CM, not METRES.
Oh, and Qiu's timing suckzzzz.
Cara: (jumps into the lazy river) Omg my shorts're slipping off!
Qiu: (jumps in after her) Woohoo!!!
so we went into the wave pool and the lazy river and took the yellow slide twice and the blue slide and pink slide once (because we were too tired to climb that high more than once) and then splashed around in the jacuzzi and videoed each other underwater being scary Peter Pan-esque mermaids and jellyfish and the Hot Ass Society and kewl surfer dudes.
I should've been born a mermaid I'd have made a very scary one.
we met three nj guys in the wave pool, whose names shall remain undisclosed for privacy-- it was kinda awkward, what with everyone in their swimming outfits, but then we all waved at each other and a certain ZZ helped us take a picture but the other two guys grabbed him and caught him in a chokehold and yanked him underwater and it was really funny!- you could see poor ZZ slipping slowly underwater, until all that remained visible of him was this lone hand sticking out of the water, determinedly hanging onto RJ's camera so as to keep it dry-- until that hand slowly slipped under, too.
Poor baby. you didn't know RJ's camera was water-resistant, didcha. :D
so three hours passed just like that, and it was terrrrrific.
I love the Clique- I know I can be myself with them- unglam days and unflattering shorts and smudging eyeliner and all; and I know they'll still love me- and the same goes for them! ily six sexies. XOXOXO
i was thinking and it's crazy how such a crazy crush could backfire on me
i was kinda hoping to feel something but i can't;
my gosh it's funny what two days, what the weekend can do to me.
oh well it was nice while it lasted.
and don't be sad, i still think you're kinda cute.
today i went over to help Kat with her art project.
EVEN THOUGH I SUCK AT ART HAHAHAHA.
I was kinda sorta scared that I'd end up just trashing her whole project and would have to compensate by (oh heaven forbid) building her a brand new dollhouse from scratch or something equally as painful,
but I'm actually not too bad.
And I didn't know that AEP was so tough. :/ Like srsly. I have newfound respect for the likes of Kat and Priscilla. Kudos, artsy fartsies.
and then I went to Maxy's house; and Chitra Ruth Tingy Maxy and I lounged around in Maxy's room with Seventeen magazine and Perrier and St Pelligrino and the semi-trashy chick-lit novels lying around, which was fun.
TOFU MAN IS SO HOT. Sorry Chitra, but he's mine now, he's over you.
he's like, life size WOW that's rly sexy.
aaaand thennnn. mani session with Tingy and Maxy!
We hadn't been out in aaaaages (okay, okay, my fault), so it was rad, catching up with the girls. I've missed you pretties.
and we have pretty nails now, too. though I chipped mine, trying to get in the taxi, but that's okay because I'm going back for a pedicure tomorrow and I'll get her to fix my chipped nail then.
it was lovely spending some time with you two, though.
i promise once school officially lets out, we'll spend a lot more time together and we'll go partying and have mega sleepovers at maxy's house, because she lives just next to holland v and i love holland v.
----
see the thing is.
i've been surrounded by so much love lately
i swear it's just been engulfing me- i hit walls on every side and the walls that catch me each time are love,
they scream love love love, love
click six- you girls are the shizznit.
as if you don't already know it!
terrible three- our strong spastic sigma bonds're gonna hold us together, you'll see. and Spastic 1/3, even with your (quote) "odd and useless subject combi", we're still gonna be together and you'll be in myyyy hearrrrtttttt.
both of you.
summarissa- we were never really the fab four. both of us know that.
but what we are is pretty awesome. (:
maxytingcara- ...T(h)ing(k) MaxCara!
we need more time together.
pedicure time, party time, bitch-mode time; anything.
ily homieszzz.
kinky six + esp deb&manda- you guys make my sundays.
I will see you this sunday and YES I WILL GO OUT WITH YOU :DDD and gloat.
and no i will not make us eat frolick in abandoned shop-spaces again. though that was fun. and deb and manda would make very lousy spies; tsktsk- i recommend watching totally spies for pointers.
so maybe you're lousy spies but you put the "ommmm" in "awesome".
peace! <3
all anons who come in peace- you remind me that sane people still exist, out there, on the internet. and that not all of you are crazed stalker anons. your sincerity never fails to make me smile.
there're a whole lot more of other people who have been there for me lately- and i love you guys.
no srsly.
i'd give all of you a big hug and kiss if i could.
you people are a constant reminder that this life's worth the living.
----
oh, and.
as an update: I just received an email.
I GOT INTO THE SRT AUDITIONS. :)
I am now officially a member of the Singapore Repertory Theatre.
my heart is singing "oh the stage, the stage, the stage..."
because I wasn't meant for real life, you know; I've got too much of a penchant for drama, for intrigue, for (yes, and I break my own heart sometimes, but-) tragedy.
I was born to live in silver-screen still shots because in the movies, exaggeration isn't a sin and dramatization isn't deception's cousin and tragedy makes the audience cry but in the end everything will be okay, and even sadness looks pretty and you get to break your/his/their heart//s in flattering lighting.
okay now loves, must go.
I want a pet tarantula, Marc, help!
